Wall paint - Fruit Fool No. 9911

Fruit Fool No. 9911 – Colour Description

This delicious pink, named after the fruit pudding so popular in the post-war era, never feels cloyingly sweet thanks to its blue base.

A shade from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Fruit Fool is one of Farrow & Ball's Archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in its original quality. Every tin is mixed to order. Due to the high level of pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight – softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like a pro

The official complementary white for Fruit Fool is Skimming Stone – ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent surfaces. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Elephant's Breath & Paean Black · Bancha & Inchyra Blue · Vert De Terre & Chine Green · Elephant's Breath & London Clay.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the corresponding primer for Fruit Fool: Primer & Undercoat – Red & Warm Tones.
