What types of shelves are available?

Freestanding shelves and bookcases offer plenty of space for books, art, and favorite pieces; open models without a back panel can divide large rooms as room dividers.
Wall shelves utilize empty wall space without taking up floor area, above a desk, sideboard, or in the kitchen; some models also feature hooks.
Shoe cabinets and shoe racks keep the entryway tidy.

Buying shelves: what to look out for

Depth: 20–25 cm is sufficient for paperbacks, while 30–35 cm is practical for coffee table books and folders; deeper shelves are suitable for baskets and boxes.

Material & Care

Clean wooden shelves with a soft, damp cloth, and metal shelves with mild soapy water. The fastest way to remove dust is with a microfiber cloth.
