What to look for in a bed

Sleeping surface: For two people, 180 × 200 cm is a comfortable standard size; taller people should plan for a length of 210 cm.
Entry height: A height of about 45–55 cm, including the mattress, makes it easier to get out of bed.
Space all around: Leave about 60–70 cm of free space on the sides where you get in and out of bed.
Solid wood: Oiled oak can be re-oiled if necessary and develops a beautiful patina over time.
