Primer - Wall & Ceiling Primer & Undercoat Red & Warm Tones

Wall & Ceiling Primer & Undercoat Red & Warm Tones

The official Farrow & Ball primer for walls and ceilings, specially formulated for use under Estate Emulsion, Modern Emulsion, and Dead Flat. Featuring the same high-quality ingredients and rich pigments as our topcoats, it provides the essential base for an even, long-lasting finish.

Which shades is it for?

Red & Warm Tones is formulated for red and warm shades, allowing rich colors like Rectory Red, Bamboozle, or Rangwali to shine with full intensity. Farrow & Ball recommends the appropriate primer tone for every color. You can find this on each color page under "Recommended Primer".

Application & Surfaces

Suitable for previously painted walls and ceilings, new plaster, drywall, lining paper, and filled surfaces. The surface should be clean, dry, and sound. Apply with a brush, medium-pile roller, or by spray (can be thinned with up to 10% water).

The Farrow & Ball System

One coat of Primer & Undercoat in the recommended tone, followed by two coats of your chosen topcoat. This creates the full color depth and durability for which Farrow & Ball is known.
