Wall paint - Fox Red No. 48

Fox Red No. 48 – Colour Description

With hints of orange, red and brown, Fox Red mimics the fur of one of Britain’s most beautiful and enigmatic garden visitors.

A shade from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Fox Red is one of the Farrow & Ball Archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in original quality. Each tin is mixed to order. Due to the high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight – softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like a pro

The official complementary white for Fox Red is Dimity – ideal for ceilings, mouldings and adjacent areas. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Oxford Stone & Treron.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under Fox Red: Primer & Undercoat – Red & Warm Tones.
