Wall paint - Ancona Blue No. 9805

Ancona Blue No. 9805 – Colour Description

Everyone has a different interpretation of duck egg blue – this is ours, and it is inspired by the delicately coloured eggs of the Ancona duck.

A shade from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Ancona Blue is one of the Farrow & Ball archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in its original quality. Each tin is mixed to order. Due to the high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight – softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Ancona Blue is School House White – ideal for ceilings, mouldings and adjoining areas. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Teresa's Green & Inchyra Blue.

The right primer

For optimum opacity and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the matching primer for Ancona Blue: Primer & Undercoat – Dark Tones.
