Wall paint - Salon Drab No. 290

About Salon Drab No. 290

“Drab” describes a color that lacks brightness, like this warm and sophisticated chocolate brown. Salon Drab is a great complement to reddish neutrals like Pointing and Dimity, lending their lighter tones a rich, earthier character.

Color effect & light

Salon Drab drapes walls like a warm, stony veil and instantly makes rooms feel more lived-in. In smaller rooms or with little natural light, it creates a deliberately enveloping, intimate character. Combined with light-colored textiles and warm lighting, it creates a real wow effect.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Salon Drab is Joa's White, ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Joa's White & Dimity · London Stone & Oxford Stone · Elephant's Breath & Skimming Stone · Arsenic & Rectory Red.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer for use under Salon Drab: Primer & Undercoat Dark Tones.
