Wall paint - Pelt No. 254

About Pelt No. 254

Pelt is a rich, deep violet that adds a touch of luxury to any room. Unlike the warmer aubergine Brinjal, it has a strong blue undertone, making it appear almost black in rooms with little light. In the high-gloss Full Gloss finish, it is a striking and glamorous color for the front door.

Color effect & light

Pelt makes a confident statement and unfolds its full charm in the evening by candlelight and lamp light. In smaller rooms or with little daylight, it intentionally creates an enveloping, intimate character. Combined with light-colored textiles and warm light, it creates a real wow effect.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Pelt is Skimming Stone, ideal for ceilings, moldings, and adjacent surfaces. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Dove Tale & Charleston Gray · Great White & Middleton Pink · Calluna & Brassica · Skimming Stone & Elephant's Breath.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer for Pelt: Primer & Undercoat Dark Tones.
