Of all our greens, Breakfast Room Green is the most cheerful – both incoming sunlight and atmospheric candlelight bring it to life. Traditionally, east-facing rooms were preferred for the first meal of the day, as the dawn light ignites the complex depth of this green. Breakfast Room Green appears incomparably striking when applied equally to both walls and woodwork.

HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?

How much Farrow & Ball paint you need depends entirely on the chosen finish. In general, both finishes (both Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) are similar in terms of coverage and color brilliance. However, the following overview is a conservative guideline for the amount of paint needed:

ESTATE EMULSION Finish:

The "Estate Emulsion" wall paint by Farrow & Ball is characterized by a high pigment density. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder rarely found in conventional paints. 

This results in the paint having a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high color quality also leads to extremely high coverage. Farrow & Ball has all paints traditionally produced and quality-checked in their factory in England. 

MODERN EMULSION Finish:

The "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint by Farrow & Ball garners attention for its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, scuffs, and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish represents a grateful alternative to Estate Emulsion and can be ideally applied in kitchens, children's rooms, and other heavily used areas.
