COLOR DESCRIPTION

Strong blue-gray.

This mature blue-gray reflects the dramatic Scottish sky that stretches over the traditional Georgian-style houses. Inchyra Blue is often used in this region for the exterior doors of an impressive barn located at the foot of an imposing embankment. Like all our colors, this shade is full of magic and appears sometimes grayer, bluer, or even greener depending on the incidence of light. Versatile, Inchyra Blue adds a splash of color to a modern interior design or creates an expressive and intimate atmosphere when combined with Black Blue or Vardo.

HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?

How much Farrow & Ball paint you need depends entirely on the chosen finish. In general, both finishes (both Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) are similar in terms of opacity and color brilliance. However, the following overview is a suitable conservative guideline for the amount of paint required:

Finish ESTATE EMULSION:

The "Estate Emulsion" wall paint from Farrow & Ball is characterized by a high pigment density. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder that is rarely found in conventional paints. 

This results in the paint having a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high color quality also leads to extremely high coverage. Farrow & Ball traditionally produces all its paints in its factory in England and checks their quality. 

Finish MODERN EMULSION:

The "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint from Farrow & Ball attracts attention with its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, scuffs, and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish represents a welcome alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms, and other heavily used areas.
