A relaxed green-blue. Dix Blue is named after one of the first Farrow & Ball stockists, then based in the East of England. Like many of our blues, Dix Blue is based on a large proportion of green pigments, which create a versatile shade. A small amount of black pigment gives Dix Blue a relaxed vintage character. In general, both finishes (Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) differ little in terms of opacity and colour brilliance. The high colour quality also leads to an extremely high yield. Farrow & Ball traditionally produces all paints in their factory in England and checks their quality.   MODERN EMULSION:  "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint from Farrow & Ball is attracting attention due to its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, abrasions and marks are no problem for this paint finish. This makes the Modern Emulsion finish a grateful alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms and other heavily used rooms.
