Wall Paint - Sloe Blue No. 87

About Sloe Blue No. 87

A blue with black undertones. Sloe Blue sits right between Oval Room Blue and Inchyra Blue. This black-based blue is the perfect shade for a modern living room or eye-catching exterior woodwork.

A shade from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Sloe Blue is one of Farrow & Ball’s Archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in its original quality. Each tin is mixed to order. Due to the high level of pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Sloe Blue is Shaded White, ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Oval Room Blue & Drop Cloth · Potted Shrimp & Inchyra Blue · Yeabridge Green & Purbeck Stone · Oval Room Blue & Potted Shrimp.
