Wall Paint - Incarnadine No. 248

About Incarnadine No. 248

Incarnadine is a rich carmine red. It looks truly glamorous, especially when used in the Farrow & Ball high-gloss Full Gloss finish. Incarnadine can be used in a bold combination with Tanner's Brown on woodwork, or paired with a bright white for a fresher look.

Color impact & light

Incarnadine makes a confident statement and unfolds its full charm in the evening by candlelight and lamplight. In smaller rooms or with little natural light, it intentionally creates an enveloping, intimate character. Combined with light-colored textiles and warm lighting, it creates a real wow effect.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Incarnadine is Dimity, ideal for ceilings, moldings, and adjacent surfaces. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Drawing Room Blue & Pitch Black · All White & Blackened · Borrowed Light & Pavilion Gray · Dimpse & Pavilion Gray.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under Incarnadine: Primer & Undercoat Dark Tones.
