Wall paint - Fake Tan No. 9912

About Fake Tan No. 9912

Fake Tan is a slightly less orange version of our archive color Fowler Pink and is named after the ubiquitous tanning products of the 1980s.

A tone from the Farrow & Ball archive

Fake Tan is one of Farrow & Ball's archive colors: no longer in the current color card, but still available in the original quality. Each tin is mixed to order. Due to the high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Fake Tan is Dimity, ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Mahogany & Archive.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends using the corresponding primer under Fake Tan: Primer & Undercoat Red & Warm Tones.
