Generally, both finishes (Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) are similar in terms of coverage and colour brilliance. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder that is rarely found in conventional paints. This results in a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high colour quality also leads to extremely high coverage. Farrow & Ball has all paints traditionally produced and quality-checked in their factory in England.  MODERN EMULSION: "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint by Farrow & Ball attracts attention with its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, abrasions and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish represents a welcome alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms and other heavily used areas.
