Cheerful accent color.

Originally used as a base color for our damask wallpaper collection, Blue Ground now imbues every room with a positive and cheerful atmosphere. This clear medium blue, alongside Wevet or James White, makes for a bright accent color, especially in playrooms, and its effect is always optimistic and friendly, but never cold.

HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?

How much Farrow & Ball paint you need depends entirely on the chosen finish. In general, both finishes (both Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) differ little in terms of opacity and color brilliance. However, the following overview is suitable as a conservative guideline for the amount of paint required:

ESTATE EMULSION Finish:

The "Estate Emulsion" wall paint by Farrow & Ball is characterized by a high pigment density. It uses a very high-quality binder, resin, which is rarely found in conventional paints.

This results in the paint having a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high color quality also leads to extremely high yield. Farrow & Ball traditionally produces all paints in their factory in England and tests them for quality.

MODERN EMULSION Finish:

The "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint from Farrow & Ball attracts attention due to its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, scuffs, and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish represents a welcome alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms, and other high-traffic areas.
