A strong burgundy red. Deep black pigments give our Eating Room Red its rich burgundy red, which adds an elegant effect to any room. This strong red gets its name from the color scheme of the popular 19th-century damasks. Damasks were predominantly used in dining rooms. Compared to the modern Incarnadine, Eating Room Red is more like a rich purple. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder rarely found in conventional paints. This results in a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints.
