A soft white with a hint of grey.

Shadow White takes its name from the soft tone created when whites are used in shaded areas. This versatile and subtle color for lovers of lighter neutrals on walls and also on woodwork is suitable for any type of home. It has none of the yellow undertones of Slipper Satin and is the perfect contrast to the slightly darker Shaded White.

HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?

How much Farrow & Ball paint you need depends entirely on the chosen finish. In general, both finishes (Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) are similar in terms of covering power and color brilliance. However, the following overview is suitable as a conservative guideline for the required amount of paint:

ESTATE EMULSION Finish:

The "Estate Emulsion" wall paint from Farrow & Ball is characterized by a high pigment density. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder rarely found in conventional paints. 

This results in the paint having a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high color quality also leads to extremely high coverage. Farrow & Ball traditionally produces all paints in its factory in England and checks their quality. 

MODERN EMULSION Finish:

The "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint from Farrow & Ball draws attention due to its high resistance to modern challenges. Stains, scuffs, and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish represents a grateful alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms, and other high-traffic areas.
