Wall paint - Pale Hound No. 71

About Pale Hound No. 71

Pale Hound owes its name to the analogy with the Farrow & Ball archive colour Hound Lemon, as it represents a lighter accent to it. It has a subtle green note, which is why it works well in any room looking out onto a garden. However, it also unfolds its effect in other bright rooms.

Colour effect & light

Pale Hound brings warmth and light into a room, like a sunbeam that stays. Due to the high level of pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Pale Hound is Wimborne White, ideal for ceilings, mouldings and adjacent surfaces. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Blue Gray & Pigeon · All White & Wimborne White · Sudbury Yellow & Tanner's Brown.

The right primer

For optimum coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under Pale Hound: Primer & Undercoat Mid Tones.
