Wall paint - Double Cream No. 9907

Double Cream No. 9907 – Colour Description

Like Single Cream, this colour has a warmer base than our classic Farrow's Cream. It is particularly effective in north-facing rooms, where it counteracts the green light often perceived in these spaces.

A shade from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Double Cream is one of Farrow & Ball's Archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in its original quality. Each tin is mixed to order. Due to the high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight – softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Double Cream is Tallow – ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Single Cream & Cola.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer for Double Cream: Primer & Undercoat – Mid Tones.
