Wall paint - Ciara Yellow No. 73

Ciara Yellow No. 73 – Colour Description

This cheerful shade was created especially for a house in Cork in the southwest of Ireland, which is why it bears the name Ciara, a name particularly popular in Ireland. With its slightly aged appearance, it feels softer than Yellow Ground. Ciara Yellow is very well suited to traditional homes.

A tone from the Farrow & Ball Archive

Ciara Yellow is one of Farrow & Ball’s archive colours: no longer in the current colour card, but still available in its original quality. Every tin is mixed to order. Due to the high level of pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight – softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Ciara Yellow is House White – ideal for ceilings, mouldings and adjacent surfaces. Colour schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Lichen & Dauphin.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinating primer for use under Ciara Yellow: Primer & Undercoat – White & Light Tones.
