Wall paint - Blue Ground No. 210

About Blue Ground No. 210

Blue Ground is a thoroughly cheerful color that is perfect for children's rooms and playrooms. It is a true blue that, interestingly, never feels cold. It was originally used as a background color for Farrow & Ball wallpapers before becoming a standalone color in our palette.

Color effect & light

Blue Ground lends rooms clarity and depth, ranging from a fresh coastal blue to an elegant evening mood. Due to its high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Blue Ground is Wevet, ideal for ceilings, moldings, and adjacent surfaces. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Wevet & Ammonite · Strong White & Purbeck Stone · Railings & Wine Dark · Middleton Pink & Mole's Breath.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under Blue Ground: Primer & Undercoat Mid Tones.
