Wall paint - New White No. 59

About New White No. 59

New White feels less aged than other more traditional Farrow & Ball neutrals like Lime White and creates fresh and warm rooms. It works particularly well in a country kitchen alongside other off-whites like Matchstick and String.

Color impact & light

New White brings calm and spaciousness to any room and forms the perfect base for changing decor. Due to its high level of pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white to New White is White Tie, ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Vardo & India Yellow · White Tie & Matchstick · String & Cord · Farrow's Cream & Dorset Cream.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under New White: Primer & Undercoat White & Light Tones.

Coverage & application

1 liter covers approx. 12 m² per coat; two coats are recommended. All Farrow & Ball paints are water-based, low-odor, and low-VOC (A+ indoor air quality). Tip: Use a sample pot (100 ml) to paint large test areas on at least two walls, as every Farrow & Ball tone changes with the light.
