How to choose the right table linen

Napkin size: Cloth napkins usually measure 40 × 40 to 50 × 50 cm – large enough to spread out on your lap.
Placemat dimensions: A placemat of about 45 × 33 cm offers space for a plate and cutlery. Allow for about 60 cm of table width per setting.
Material according to use: Cotton and linen can be washed, while seagrass and jute have a rustic look and should only be wiped down with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
