As soft as stone.

Inspired by the color of animal bones, Bone is a soft gray with a pale green undertone. This stony neutral is softer in effect than Old White and creates a timeless look, especially on interior wood, when paired with Lime White. In combination with lighter shades, Bone creates an expressive feeling of light and space, or harmonizes as a friendly neutral with our bolder nuances.

HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?

How much Farrow & Ball paint you need depends entirely on the chosen finish. Generally, both finishes (Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion) are similar in terms of coverage and color brilliance. However, the following overview is a conservative guideline for the required amount of paint:

ESTATE EMULSION Finish:

The "Estate Emulsion" wall paint from Farrow & Ball is characterized by a high pigment density. It uses resin, a very high-quality binder rarely found in conventional paints. 

This results in the paint having a much more intense effect compared to many commercially available wall paints. The high color quality also leads to extremely high yield. Farrow & Ball traditionally produces and quality checks all paints in their factory in England. 

MODERN EMULSION Finish:

The "Modern Emulsion" water-based wall paint from Farrow & Ball gains attention for its high resistance to the challenges of modern life. Stains, scuffs, and marks are no problem for this paint finish. Thus, the Modern Emulsion finish is a welcome alternative to Estate Emulsion and can ideally be applied in kitchens, children's rooms, and other heavily used areas.
