Above a round table, a single pendant lamp with a diameter of 30–40 cm, such as a large Ball or FM 1954 lamp, works well. Over long tables, two to three smaller pendants in a row or a linear pendant lamp like the Ball Track look more harmonious.

Shiny surfaces such as copper, brass, or chrome reflect light and add an elegant accent, especially against calm, light-colored walls. Matte colors like white, black, or petrol have a more restrained effect and blend more easily into existing interiors.

Wherever there is no power outlet in the wall: next to the bed, in a reading nook, in the hallway, or above a dresser. You don't need new wiring or an electrician. How the lamp is charged and how long a battery charge lasts can be found on the product page.

Frandsen lighting at LIVINGforme combines simple geometric shapes with carefully chosen surfaces: glossy metal, tinted glass, and matte colors. The best-known example is the spherical Ball lamp, but the brand’s range extends from pendant lights to wall and table lamps, as well as cordless battery-powered models.

Frandsen collections at a glance

Ball: the sphere as a pendant, wall, and floor lamp, as the Ball Track pendant bar, the Ball Handle with a handle, or the Ball Glass with glass – all variations can be found on the Frandsen Ball page.
Glass and color: Grace pendant lights in tinted glass, such as Smoke or Bronze Glass.
Slim and graphic: FM 2014 as a slender pendant light, FM 1954 as a pendant and floor lamp, plus Lyss, Koi, Sora, Bridge, and Benjamin.
Cordless: Grasp as a battery-powered wall lamp and as a portable floor lamp.
For tables and sideboards: Table lamps such as Butterfly, Ami, or Lyss.

Combining Frandsen lights

One line, several rooms: Repeat a lighting family in different forms – for instance, as a pendant over the dining table and as a wall lamp in the hallway. This creates a cohesive theme throughout the home.
Surface based on the setting: Copper, brass, and chrome in glossy finishes reflect light and look particularly elegant against neutral walls; matte colors like white or petrol blend in more subtly.
Low ceilings: In rooms with ceiling heights below approximately 2.50 meters, slender or small pendants appear lighter than large spheres.
Tinted glass: It emits less light than clear or opal glass – plan it more for ambiance than as primary lighting.
Without new connections: Battery-powered lights like Grasp are suitable for rental properties or walls without an electrical outlet.
