Wall Paint - Tallow No. 203

About Tallow No. 203

Tallow is a creamy, yellow-based white that takes its name from the natural material once used to make soaps and candles. The pink and yellow pigments in its base give it a warm quality and reflectiveness, making the most of the existing light.

Color effect & light

Tallow flatters a room with a warm, earthy softness and a hint of sunset. Due to its high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine like the pros

The official complementary white for Tallow is Wimborne White, ideal for ceilings, moldings, and adjoining areas. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Matchstick & Mouse's Back · Pointing & Wimborne White · London Stone & London Clay.

The right primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer for use under Tallow: Primer & Undercoat White & Light Tones.
