Wall Paint - Jitney No. 293

About Jitney No. 293

Jitney is named after the Hampton Jitney, the bus that carries New Yorkers out of the stuffy city to the beaches and the fresh sea breeze of the Hamptons during the summer months. This idyllic escape also inspired the shade Jitney, a relaxed and uncomplicated, rather cool-toned sandy color.

Color Effect & Light

Jitney sits on walls like a warm, stony veil, instantly making rooms feel more inviting. Due to its high pigmentation, the tone changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine Like the Pros

The official complementary white for Jitney is Dimity, ideal for ceilings, molding, and adjacent areas. Farrow & Ball recommended color schemes: Wimborne White & Stirabout · Light Blue & Vert De Terre · Red Earth & Card Room Green · Picture Gallery Red & Tanner's Brown.

The Right Primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the corresponding primer for Jitney: Primer & Undercoat Mid Tones.
