Wall paint - Cord No. 16

About Cord No. 16

Cord is a strong, yellowish neutral. It is the perfect complement to the Farrow & Ball classic String, for which it was developed as an intense accent color. On kitchen cabinets, Cord also works beautifully with the slightly lighter Matchstick on the walls.

Color Impact & Light

Cord brings warmth and light into a room, like a ray of sunshine that lingers. Due to its high pigmentation, the shade changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine Like the Pros

The official complementary white for Cord is White Tie, ideal for ceilings, mouldings, and adjacent areas. Color schemes recommended by Farrow & Ball: Calke Green & Tanner's Brown · White Tie & New White · Matchstick & String · Mouse's Back & Green Smoke.

The Right Primer

For optimal coverage and durability, Farrow & Ball recommends the coordinated primer under Cord: Primer & Undercoat Mid Tones.
