Wall paint - Churlish Green No. 251

About Churlish Green No. 251

Churlish Green is an unpretentious, country house inspired green, whose name is derived from the Anglo-Saxon "churl" or "ceorl". This was the term used for a freeman who worked a small farm. Its strong yellow undertone is unique among Farrow & Ball greens, and it looks particularly compelling in Full Gloss.

Color Impact & Light

Churlish Green brings the outside in, feeling fresh or deep and cocooning depending on the light. Due to its high pigmentation, the shade changes with the daylight: softer in the morning, deeper in the evening.

Combine Like a Pro

The official complementary white for Churlish Green is Wevet, ideal for ceilings, skirting boards, and adjacent areas. Recommended color schemes by Farrow & Ball: Shaded White & Slipper Satin · All White & Strong White · Dove Tale & Charleston Gray · Tanner's Brown & Railings.
