Wall lamps provide targeted light without taking up floor space – as reading lights by the bed, for orientation in the hallway, or as accents next to mirrors and pictures. At LIVINGforme, you will find wall lamps from Frandsen such as the Ball series and the battery-powered Grasp wall lamp, as well as models from Living Nordic, Lambert, and By Rydéns.

Placing wall lamps correctly

Hallway: A mounting height of about 160–180 cm distributes the light pleasantly without causing glare. In long hallways, several lamps spaced at equal intervals create a calm rhythm.
By the bed: As a reading light, the lamp should hang about 50–60 cm above the top edge of the mattress and to the side of the pillow.
By the mirror: Two lamps placed on the left and right at face level provide more even illumination than a single one positioned above.
Pictures and niches: Wall lamps that shine light upwards and downwards create cones of light on the wall and highlight pictures, niches, or a colored wall.
Connection: Fixed-installation lamps should be connected by a qualified electrician. If there is no wall outlet, battery-operated models are a flexible solution.

Light color, light source, and connection type are listed on the respective product page. You can find a suitable mirror in our wall mirrors collection, and further types of lighting under Lighting. Our LIVING Design Service is available to assist you with lighting planning for your hallway or bedroom.
