Bed linen at LIVINGforme is high-quality bedding made from 100% cotton and silk – Mako satin, jacquard, and silk pillowcases in solid colors, stripes, and floral designs. The focus is on the home textile brand Essenza, led by the satin bedding Essenza Minte.

What types of bedding are available?

Mako satin: smooth, slightly shiny, and cool on the skin – for example, Essenza Minte with 300 TC in many solid colors.
Satin with patterns: striped Minte Stripe and the floral design Rosabelle.
Jacquard: woven-in patterns with texture, such as Eleria with a leaf motif.
Cotton with prints: Palma with a tone-on-tone palm leaf pattern.
Silk: Alice pillowcases made from 100% mulberry silk, gentle on skin and hair.

Buying bedding: What to look for

Size: 135 x 200 cm is the standard size for single duvets, 155 x 220 cm is the comfort size, and 200 x 200 cm fits double duvets. It is best to measure your duvet.
Pillowcase: 80 x 80 cm is standard in Germany; the narrower 40 x 80 cm size fits rectangular pillows and looks more streamlined in a double bed.
Material: Satin feels cool and smooth, jacquard adds texture, and silk is particularly low-friction.
Thread count: The TC (thread count) indicates how tightly a fabric is woven. From about 200 TC, satin is considered high-quality; 300 TC is very fine.
Certificate: Look for the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – many of our Essenza bedding sets are tested accordingly.

Material & Care

Wash bedding inside out with the zipper closed and use a detergent without optical brighteners. Cotton satin such as Essenza Minte can withstand 60°C and tumble drying; patterned bedding is usually washed at 40°C, and silk should be hand-washed.
